IIT Bombay: एनर्जी साइंस और इंजीनियरिंग डिपार्टमेंट में पढ़ने वाले एक छात्र ने अपनी जान ले ली। दरअसल रिपोर्ट में कहा जा रहा है कि परीक्षा के दौरान हॉल में मोबाइल फोन का इस्तेमाल करने की वजह से छात्र फंसा था। कहा जा रहा है कि परीक्षा में खुद को सफल करने के लिए उसने पूरे क्वेश्चन पेपर को ही ChatGPT पर अपलोड कर दिया। हालांकि पकड़े जाने के बाद भी इंस्ट्रक्टर और डिपार्टमेंट के हेड ने छात्र से इस मामले में बात कर कहा कि उनके एकेडमिक करियर पर इसका कोई भी असर नहीं पड़ेगा। बावजूद इसके छात्र ने अपनी जान ले ली। वहीं इस सबके बीच कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी के फाउंडर अभिजीत दीपके ने सवाल उठाया है।
IIT Bombay ने इस तरह जाहिर किया दुख
Mumbai | IIT Bombay: A second-year student of the Department of Energy Science and Engineering at IIT Bombay died by suicide. Earlier in the day, during an examination, the student was found using a mobile phone in the exam hall. He had uploaded the examination question paper on ChatGPT to seek answers. No disciplinary action was initiated against the student. The matter was also discussed with the student by the instructor and the Head of the Department, who counselled him and assured him that the incident would not adversely affect his academic career. The student subsequently returned to his hostel room. Later in the evening, he was found dead in his room. IIT Bombay is deeply saddened by the loss of a student. The Institute is extending support to the student’s friends, classmates, faculty members, and others affected by this tragic incident. The circumstances surrounding the death are being looked into by the appropriate authorities.

आईआईटी बॉम्बे में छात्र की मौत को लेकर विरोध प्रदर्शन जारी है जहां यूनिवर्सिटी के छात्रों ने विरोध प्रदर्शन किया है। रिपोर्ट में कहा जा रहा है कि मृत छात्र के खिलाफ कोई अनुशासनात्मक कार्यवाही नहीं की गई थी। इंस्ट्रक्टर और डिपार्टमेंट के हेड द्वारा आश्वासन देने के बावजूद जब छात्र अपने हॉस्टल के कमरे में लौटा तब शाम को मृत पाया गया।वहीं इस पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए आईआईटी बॉम्बे ने कहा कि “संस्थान छात्र के दोस्तों, क्लासमेट्स, फैकल्टी सदस्यों और इस घटना से प्रभावित अन्य लोगों को हर संभव मदद दे रहा है। संबंधित अधिकारी मौत के मामले की जांच कर रहे हैं।”

वहीं इसे लेकर लगातार विरोध प्रदर्शन जारी है जिस पर अभिजीत दीपके ने भी प्रतिक्रिया दी है जहां उन्होंने लिखा कि “दूर दराज के आदिवासी इलाकों में भी छात्र मार रहे हैं और मुंबई जैसे बड़े शहर में भी। यह संकट हर जगह फैला हुआ है। छात्रों की जिंदगी को प्राथमिकता देने से पहले और कितने छात्रों को अपनी जान गंवानी पड़ेगी।”
फिलहाल आईआईटी बॉम्बे के छात्र की मौत को लेकर विरोध प्रदर्शन थमने का नाम नहीं ले रहा है।
